FAQs

What can I expect to happen in a consultation?

At your first appointment we will do an in-depth and systematic enquiry into your health history and presenting health concerns, and this will inform your treatment plan. Some health concerns are more readily resolved than others, but overall, our aim is support you in optimizing your feelings of energy and wellbeing, and to support you in feeling confident to manage your own health going forward. You can expect a relaxed and welcoming non-judgement zone, and you will receive diet, lifestyle, supplementation, testing, recommendations for additional therapeutic treatments, or referral to other health care practitioners, as is appropriate. 

How many consultations will I need to have?

It is recommended that a minimum of two appointments are attended, this allows for follow-up and recommendations following your initial appointment. Depending on your particular health concerns, more appointments may be recommended, but as always that remains completely at your discretion.

When are consultations available?

Consultations are currently available Monday through Saturday. Times for specific practitioners vary, to see available appointments, please click on the booking link.​ All consultations are prepaid in full at the time of booking.

Where do consultations take place?

For Perth locals, you can see us in person at our Hale Holistic clinic in South Perth. Locals and out-of-state or international clients can opt for online consultations via Zoom or on the phone if you prefer. Please note, best practice dictates that first consultations will require an in-person or Zoom appointment.​ Simply click on the booking link to find an appointment type and time that suits you. After booking you will receive an email with further instructions for how to attend your appointment (address or Zoom link), and a health questionnaire. Please complete your questionnaire as soon as possible and return it to us via email before your appointment. On the day of your appointment, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled booking, or click on the Zoom link 5 minutes before, because we endeavour to stay on track throughout the day with our appointment times for convenience for all.

Can I claim Private Health rebates?

The Australian Government removed naturopathic medicine from the private health rebate scheme on the 1st of April 2019, for reasons that defy logic and the well-established traditional knowledge and scientific literature on the benefits.

How do I cancel an appointment?

If you would like to cancel or change an appointment, please click on the link in your email or text message to do so. You are able to cancel your appointment without any fees up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment start time. Consultations cancelled after that time will incur the full consultation fee already paid in advance. This policy is in place to ensure fairness for all. ​

Late arrival & failure to keep appointment

In the event you arrive late to your appointment, your appointment will still be available to you, but it will necessarily be reduced in duration in order to keep appointment times true for others following. The price of your consultation will remain as initially booked and we will endeavour to still provide a comprehensive consultation as is possible. Please note however, that depending on how late you arrive, you may be requested to make an additional appointment to cover any issues we do not have the time to adequately address. If instead you fail to keep your appointment, your booking fee will be forfeited. These policies are in place to ensure fairness for all.

I have a concern about my treatment program, what should I do?

Please discuss any concerns about your treatment program with you practitioner, either in person or via email. If you are not satisfied with the way in which your concerns are addressed and/or resolved, please contact our clinical practice manager Tereena Lucas via email so she can assist you: tereenalucas@haleholistic.com

I have a complaint, how can I let you know?

In the first instance, please address any complaints directly to your practitioner so that the opportunity for the very best resolution can be tried. If you are still unsatisfied with the outcome, you are welcome to contact our clinical practice manager Tereena Lucas via email: tereenalucas@haleholistic.com.au. Our practice manager Anthony Lucas can also provide support in matters requiring a non-practitioner oversight: anthonylucas@haleholistic.com.au. In all instances, please refrain from taking complaints to public forums like social media. This is not beneficial for either party and could potentially result in legal action being taken. At Hale Holistic, client satisfaction is our priority and we will work with you to resolve any issues as best we can.

shipping & returns

What is your shipping policy?

We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $100; orders below this value are charged at a flat rate of $10. Your products are shipped from our clinic in South Perth and our standard shipping option delivers in 2-6 business days for most metropolitan postcodes. In busy trading periods, orders may take longer due to high volumes. All orders are dispatched with courier service, Shippit, and are delivered directly to your door. Once dispatched with Shippit, expected delivery times for each region are as follows:

  • 1-3 business days WA

  • 2-6 business days NSW, ACT, SA & QLD, NT, Tasmania

  • 5-10 business days, international

What is your returns policy?

You are welcome to return your order, please see our returns policy.

Returns

Blanc has a 'no refund' policy on purchases of goods or services if you change your mind. Furthermore, our 'no refund' policy applies to medical procedures (including injectables) as well as dermal treatments and procedures.

Please note that our treatments, services and packages are not transferrable to other individuals and they cannot be swapped for other treatments or services. Furthermore, reservation fees typically are non-refundable but can remain on the system as a credit.

Exchanges may be provided within 14 days of purchase for retail items if remaining in original packaging and unused however we do not offer refunds or exchanges on used products under any circumstances. 

Shipping

If you would like to return a product, please reach out to appoinments@blancskin.com.au for approval prior to returning your product. Once approved, please mail your product to: Blanc Skin, 8/12 Napoleon Street, Cottesloe WA 6011, Australia

 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original cost of shipping will not be refunded.

 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot be held responsible for the shipping of your returned item.
